Sarah is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a deep commitment to empowering individuals to overcome emotional and psychological challenges to live in greater peace and harmony with themselves and others. Holding a master's degree from Michigan State University, she has been practicing for over 7 years in settings ranging from juvenile probation, residential treatment, children's crisis and outpatient therapy.  Sarah has broad experience working with those suffering with serious mental illness and suicidal ideation. She has completed courses to obtain certification to treat complex PTSD and trauma and is in the process of obtaining her Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Her passion is walking alongside those experiencing the impact of anxiety, depression, trauma, suicidal ideation, LGBTQIA+, religious trauma, family issues and autism/ADHD. Sarah utilizes a collaborative approach in the evidenced-based practices she provides, honoring the fact that each person has uncultivated internal resources and is the expert in his or her own story. Her greatest delight is witnessing joy and peace return to those with whom she works.
