Justine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree from Michigan State University and Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Michigan. Additionally, she has completed hundreds of hours of education in human sexuality, sexuality education, and sex therapy at the University of Michigan Sexual Health Certificate Program. She is one of just a few AASECT Certified Sex Therapists in West Michigan. She is passionate about the care of under-served populations, including LGBTQIA and other sexual, relationship, and cultural minorities. She frequently works with survivors of sexual assault/trauma, individuals with pelvic pain disorders, relationships impacted by differences in sexual desire, out-of-control sexual behaviors, and many other difficulties related to sexual functioning. Justine’s therapeutic philosophy is that each client deserves to be treated with dignity and compassion and have access to the highest level of individual and relationship care available.
